Boston Graveyard

Granary Burying Ground
During a recent trip to Boston, the missus suggested we visit the Granary Burying Ground to photograph gravestones—something she soon regretted. I did, however, manage to snap a few photos before she ushered me out of the cemetery. Most of the inscriptions on solid stone seem to have fared much better than those on the weathered composite tombs. In addition to the abbreviated wording, often seen in writing during the same period, there are plenty of other lettering curios. Worth a trip for boring folks with nothing more exciting to do than take pictures of old rocks.
